Hypocrisy is painful. Better to be yourself.

Hypocrisy is painful. Better to be yourself.

Using this video as a case study:
"The Napoleon Hill Foundation - Think and Grow Rich" .

Watching this video is painful for me, and I praise Greg for his inner strength in the face of such "big" people ( the old man and the other big man).

Despite the smiles of Greg, I see that he is not comfortable. His smiles and "wow!" seem forced. The old man does not smile back at Greg; he seems to be tolerating Greg only because there is a camera.

Look at the part where Greg and the old man are going down the long stairway. Greg's face looks uncomfortable.

The big man who comes at the end is similar to the old man. His smiles seem forced, and they are rare.

Who knows how these men would be interacting if there was no camera? I think they would be more ill at ease and talk very little.

Hypocrisy is painful. Better to be yourself. So Greg should not force himself to smile so much, or let himself be impressed just because these are "celebrities". I think that Greg kissed that book just to impress the old man, who was apparently not impressed.
